This Week in 5th Class by Adam and Ayda

Maths: This week in maths we learned about money. It wasn’t too bad but I’d rather addition or subtraction!

Gaeilge: Rinnemar an scéal “An Díolachán Cacaí”. D’fhéachamar ar oideas do cháca brioscaí seacláide. Chánamar an t-amhrán “Báidín Fheilimí”.

English: For English we read a story called “Invasion” the story was about Anne Frank. Anne was a Jew and when Hitler’s army showed up her whole life changed she couldn’t go to her school she had to move to a secret annex and they had to sew a bright yellow star that said “Jood” on it to all their clothes and their sister Margot got a call up that she was going to a concentration camp.

Projects: We started projects on the World Cup country we picked out of the pot. I got South Korea I don’t know how Uruguay didn’t beat them yesterday but I’m not complaining!

Christmas Show: We have been rehearsing for our show a lot. I’m really excited for it but I think we are close to perfection.

News: We have been working on our projects for our countries I kept having problems with the background but then I got it. The boys Gaelic training has also started and… Who’s watching The Toy Show tonight???
