Rocks by Clara, Emma and Mikey

10th Oct 2022

This week we are learning about rocks...

Mikey's Rock

This rock was found at Strandhill. It is soft, smooth and has specks of grey but is mainly white. I think it might be marble which is a metamorphic rock made from heat and pressure.

Emma's Rock

This rock was found in Culleenamore beach. This rock is bumpy and light and dark grey. This rock is limestone and has fossils.

Clara's Rock

This rock was found in the woods and is smooth bumpy and it as lots of cracks it’s colour is red black white and green. The size is 4cm and looks like an egg. I think it is marble.
