Multicultural Day Celebrations!

3rd Oct 2025

On Friday, 3rd October, our school came together to celebrate Multicultural Day, a wonderful event that highlighted the rich diversity within our school community. Each class researched different countries, learning about their history, traditions, and way of life.

The children created colourful projects that proudly displayed national flags, traditional foods, important customs, popular sports, and the many languages spoken across the world. Our GP Room was filled with posters, artwork, and displays that captured the unique identity of each country.

Throughout the day, pupils had the opportunity to visit the GP Room, exploring the projects and discovering something new about each culture. From learning a few words in a new language, to seeing traditional clothing, and even tasting food samples, every child was able to engage with and celebrate the traditions of others.

The event was not only fun and educational, but also a reminder of how much we can learn from one another. Multicultural Day encouraged our pupils to value and respect the different backgrounds, experiences, and family traditions that make up our school community.

We are proud of how enthusiastic the children were in sharing their knowledge and in appreciating the cultures of their classmates. We are also so thankful to all the parents who prepared food to share and had their children dressed so beautifully to celebrate their heritage. It was a true celebration of unity in diversity – showing that while we may come from many different places, together we make one school family - our school family!
