This week, our school celebrated Maths Week with great enthusiasm and creativity! Throughout the week, pupils from all classes took part in a variety of fun, hands-on maths activities designed to show that maths is all around us and can be exciting and enjoyable.
A special mention must go to Mr. Caldwell’s 6th Class, who showed incredible inventiveness in designing and organizing a range of engaging maths games and challenges.
Even more impressive was the graciousness and kindness they showed in hosting their younger schoolmates. The 6th class pupils guided the younger children with patience and encouragement, helping them to explore mathematical ideas in a fun and supportive way. It was wonderful to see pupils of all ages working together, sharing ideas, and celebrating their love of maths.
Meanwhile 3rd, 4th and 5th classes joined forces to have a Maths Table Quiz! It was close - very close - three teams ended up level on points. But everyone had fun, that was the aim. Well done to you all!
Maths Week was a huge success, thanks to Mrs Elliott for leading it and to all the teachers for their enthusiasm in showcasing maths and of course to our pupils for all their work.
