For the months of January and February, we focus on gymnastics in our PE lessons. Rolling, travelling and balancing form part of the lessons and it’s a great way to get the children to work in pairs.
Teachers worked together to improve their delivery of this, our chosen strand upon which to focus. Ideas and activities were shared and Ms Marshall attended the only workshop nearby (in Leitrim) to enable us to deliver this strand to the best of our ability. She shared the information with the rest of the staff.
