Today 3rd Class braved the tough weather conditions to visit Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery. Over the past number of weeks, we have been studying our local environment and also learning all about the Stone Age. We got a wonderful tour from our tour guide Robert who showed us the largest cemetery of megalithic tombs in Ireland while taking in the marvellous mountainous surroundings.
