Many thanks to Sara from Sligo Sports and Recreation Partnership who facilitated a Bike Workshop with pupils from 2nd, 3rd & 4th Class today.
The children were shown how to wear their helmets correctly and also how to do a safety check on their bikes - wheels pumped , breaks working etc. They also practiced cycling in a narrow path and also winding between cones . All the participants really enjoyed the workshop.
