On Tuesday, 19th May, Sixth Class pupils Mya and Sophia travelled to Claremorris, accompanied by Mrs. McDonnell, to attend the An Taisce Green Flag Awards Ceremony 2026. During the ceremony the girls proudly accepted the flag and certificate of achievemnet on behalf of the Green Schools Committee and the whole school community. This is the sixth flag that our school has been awarded. This flag was on the theme of Global Citizenship, Litter and Waste. The Green Schools Committee are now busily organising 'The Flag Raising' event which will be held on Friday 19th June. More details to follow over the next few weeks.
