Third Class had a very busy Active Schools Week.
On Monday, the whole school completed the sponsored walk in Abbey Drive. It was lovely.
Third Class played a game of dodgeball against Fourth Class which we loved.
On Tuesday, we had our GAA sports day. We all had a great time.
On Wednesday, we had a skipping challenge at the front of the school to see who could get the highest amount of consecutive skips - we all did really well!
We also had novelty races, which included the egg (potato) and spoon race, the three legged race and the wheelbarrow race. These were so much fun.
On Thursday, we had circuits in the basketball court, we played a game of rounders and we played various games with the parachute.
On Friday, we had a drama workshop with Jay Ryan. We all really enjoyed this and had so much fun doing the activities. We added music to some of our movements and they turned out brilliantly.
